Best Friends Tut

This tutorial is short, simple and sweet and can be done by all PSP Users. This tutorial was written by me on the 2nd day of July 2011 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I used PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. If you would like to share the tutorial please send a link to my blog.

Things Needed:
Tube of choice: I am using the work of the talented Pinuptoons which you can purchase at CDO

Kit of choice: I am using the kit called Girl Thing from Sugarkissed Designs which you can purchase here

Let’s Begin:

1. Open a new transparent image 650 x 650 we will call this our working image (we will definitely be resizing later.)
2. Open SKDesigns_GirlThing_El20.png and SKDesigns_GirlThing_El21.png
3. Copy Element 21 and paste as a new layer on our working image
4. Copy Element 20 and paste as a new layer on our working image again
5. Now you will want to move these to your liking (or look at mine for placement)
6. Click in the center of element 21 with your magic wand
7. Selections- Modify- Expand by 10
8. Open paper of choice at this time and paste as a new layer on our working image
9. Once you have your paper there go to selections- invert and hit delete on your keyboard one time
10. Move this layer below our frame layers
11. Repeat steps 6 through 10 for our other frame element
12. You can use the same paper or a different one it’s up to you ( Dare to be Different)
13. Open Element 15 and paste as a new layer placing to your liking (if you place similar to mine you will have to crop excess off the edges
14. Now open 2 tubes of your choosing (Please make sure you have a license to use them)
15. Place your first tube to your liking and move below the frame (crop the tube that hangs outside the frames)
16. Duplicate this layer and blur by 5.00
17. Now change the layer opacity to hard light
18. Now repeat these steps with your other tube for our other frame
19. Now after you are satisfied with your tube placements got back to our ribbon and frame layers and add a drop shadow
20. My drop shadow settings 0, 0, 100, 5.00 shadow on new layer Unchecked and black
21. Open SKDesigns_GirlThing_El24.png
22. Paste as a new layer on our working image and send to the bottom
23. Resize by 50% and place to your liking
24. Duplicate this element and place all over until your content with the amount there is.
25. Add a slight drop shadow to all the dot layers
26. Add a quote of your choice or word art of some sort something that really fits your tag
27. Of course now you can add any other elements that really make your tag pop
28. I added a couple of the flowers
29. Add your copyrights and your name and that’s it…
I know this tut is really simple but sometimes simple makes a tag. I really like how it fell together and this is a wonderful kit. I hope you like your results.
