Beautiful Angel



This tutorial is for those that have experience working knowledge of PSP. This tutorial was written by me on August 12, 2014 and any resemblance is purely coincidental. I use PSP 9, but any version should work. I do not allow my tutorials to be translated and please do not claim them as your own. Things Needed:
  • Tube/Image of choice:  I am using a beautiful tube by TheVintageAngel™ which can only be used with a license and can be found at CDO – Please do not use this image without the proper license!
  • Kit of choice: I am using a kit by Rieneke Designs called A Beautiful Thing which can be purchased at here at Twilight Scraps
  • Plugins: None Needed
  • Masks/Templates: None Needed
  • Other Items Needed: Font of Choice- I found the Script fonts fit this tag better but any font you like will work 

Let’s Begin:
  1.       Open a new image 600 x 600 (Our Working Image)
  2.      Open RDabeautifulthing_element36.png and resize by 60%
  3.      Paste as a new layer on our working image
  4.      Open paper of choice ( I chose RDabeautifulthing_paper8.jpg)
  5.     Using the magic wand click in the center of our “frame”
  6.      Expand selection by 5
  7.     Now highlight layer Raster one
  8.     Copy your paper
  9.      Now paste our paper into selection so the whole paper fits in the frame
  10.      Add a new raster layer
  11.      Open your tube at this time –Resize if necessary
  12.      Place to your liking within the frame
  13.      Once satisfied with placement go to Selections- Invert
  14.    . Hit delete on your keyboard one time
  15.     Selections- Select None
  16.     Add a drop shadow of your liking at this time to our tube layer and our frame layer
  17.     Open RDabeautifulthing_element8.png
  18.      Resize by 55%
  19.      Paste as a new layer on our working image
  20.      Image-mirror
  21.      Place to the left of our frame and add a nice drop shadow
  22.      Duplicate and resize by 75%
  23.      Image- Mirror
  24.      Move down slightly and make it touch our other stem
  25.      Open RDabeautifulthing_element67.png and resize by 40%
  26.     Paste as a new layer on our working image
  27.      Move into position of your liking add a slight drop shadow if you so desire
  28.     Duplicate
  29.      Image-Mirror
  30.      Again move into position of your liking
  31.      Open RDabeautifulthing_element49.png
  32.      Resize by  50% and then again by 70%
  33.      Open RDabeautifulthing_element59.png
  34.     Resize by 70%
  35.      Copy and paste as a new layer on our working image
  36.      Place to the left of our frame again
  37.      Move this layer below all the feather and leaf layers
  38.      Once satisfied with the position add a nice drop shadow
  39.      Open RDabeautifulthing_element20.png and resize by 50%
  40.      Move over to the left and place in the center of our “bouquet” so to speak
  41.     Add a drop shadow to the flower
  42.      Open RDabeautifulthing_element38.png and resize by 35%
  43.      Now paste as a new layer on our working image
  44.      Image- Mirror
  45.      Now place the bird on the top right of our frame
  46.      Add a drop shadow – A soft subtle one
  47.      Open RDabeautifulthing_element64.png and rotate by 90% to the right
  48.      Resize by 75%
  49.     Copy and paste as a new layer on our working image
  50.      Place to your liking but make sure your tube still stands out
  51.      Add a drop shadow of your choosing
  52.      Move this layer below our bird layer
  53.      At this time add any other elements you would like
  54.      Once satisfied with the look of your tag merge all layers visible
  55.    . Add your copyright layer  and add a subtle gradient glow so that the credits will stand out
  56.      Now select a font and add your name
  57.      Add a drop shadow to your name
  58.    . Merge visible once again and export as a .png
